Wedding Trends: Celestial Style

Leave your guests starry eyed with one of our favourite wedding trends of 2020.

Celestial touches to a wedding will certainly bring some magic to your wedding day.

And we are definitely on board with this beautiful trend; It can be introduced in so many ways. We recently worked on a styled shoot at Midelney Manor with some great wedding suppliers to great a dreamy take on this theme.

Starry Stationery

It goes without saying that you could go full sparkle or gold foil on your wedding stationery, but a more subtle effect is something we would go for. We are loving the delicate celestial touches on this invitation set from Ink & Paper. You could even personalise with you and your partners constellations.

Moon Dust Details

Maybe it's the Meghan Markle effect, but having intricate patterns and symbols sewn into wedding veils is becoming a big trend. It's such a graceful way of introducing a dusting of celestial into your wedding, without having to go over the top with this theme. This crescent moon veil from Holly Winter Couture is gorgeous.

Dreamy Decor

Transform your wedding venue by introducing celestial elements throughout your decor.

We partnered with Floral Fabrications to create a bold Celestial inspired backdrop, which could be used with our photo booth. Giant metal stars make a bold statement, paired with our white and gold sequin backdrop. We careful drew stars into the sequins to create the final look. A starry welcome screen on our photo booth and dark blue print outs add to the overall feel.

Lunar Love

Complete the look with fun wedding signage that takes full advantage of the star and moon feel. Dazzle your guests with custom props. Use them to decorate your table scapes as well as in the photo booth.
