Concept This is a concept based on our software development. The demo brand, stand and people are concept imagery, not photos from a live event.
Every exhibitor wants two things from a stand: people on it, and conversations that turn into business. A photo experience does the first. Badge scanning does the second.

How it works
- Scan the badge. The delegate scans their event badge at the booth, so there is no typing and no queue.
- Greet them by name. Their details fill in automatically and the experience is personalised to them.
- Ask what matters. Add a qualifying question or two, such as their role, interest or timeline, built into the flow.
- Send the photo, save the lead. The delegate gets their photo, and your team gets their details and answers, ready to follow up.
In focus: badge scan at FutureGrid Expo
Here is how it looks on a stand, built for Voltline, a demo energy software brand at an exhibition. A delegate scans their badge at our studio booth, is welcomed by name, answers two quick questions and chooses whether they are happy to be followed up. Then the camera takes over, and the photo lands in their inbox with their name on it.
- Three ways to scan. A handheld badge scanner, the booth camera or a typed email for anyone without a badge.
- Two questions that qualify. What brought them to the stand, and the best time to talk.
- Consent kept separate. Saying no to follow up still gets them their photo, and no answers stay out of marketing.
- A report your sales team will use. Every visit with its answers and opt in, plus the totals that matter, such as who is ready to buy this month.

Voltline and FutureGrid Expo are demo brands and the stand scenes are concept imagery. Badge details come from the organiser’s delegate data for your event.
Why exhibitors love it
- A crowd magnet. A branded photo moment draws people onto the stand and gives your team an easy way to start a conversation.
- Leads with context. Not just a name, but the answers that tell your sales team who to call first.
- A warmer follow up. “Here is your photo from our stand” is a far better opening line than a cold email.
- One clear report. Visitors, answers and opt ins in one place after the show.
Ideas for brands and agencies
- Trade shows and exhibitions. Turn stand traffic into a qualified lead list.
- Sponsor activations. Prove the value of a sponsorship with real numbers.
- B2B launches. Capture interest in a new product from the people who matter.
Handled properly
Delegates choose what they share and opt in clearly. Lead data is used only for your follow up and handled in line with UK GDPR and our privacy policy.
